IT Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders and working closely with the programming team to ensure these requirements are met. This role will serve as a bridge between the business and technical teams, ensuring that systems and processes are developed and implemented in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather Business Requirements: Conduct meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional requirements. Document these requirements clearly for the programming team.

Liaise with Programmers: Work closely with the programming team to ensure that the business requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise during development.

System Analysis: Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement or enhancement. Make recommendations based on these analyses.

Project Management: Assist in planning and monitoring project progress. Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Testing and Validation: Conduct testing to ensure that the developed systems meet the business requirements. Validate the functionality and performance of the system before it is deployed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods.

Ability to use a computer for extended periods.
