Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Assistant Project Manager - Architectural Woodworking. This role is an on-site position located in Hauppauge, NY.

Assist in the management of architectural woodworking projects from start to finish, including coordinating with clients, architects, and subcontractors.

Maintain project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders.

Utilize Procore software for project management tasks such as document control, RFIs, submittals, and drawing management.

Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules using MS Project.

Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of materials and installation schedules.

Collaborate with the design team to review shop drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Assist in project budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice processing.

Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural woodworking or related construction industry.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience with project management software, particularly Procore and MS Project.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
