Daily Rate: £96- 150 per day (including holiday pay)

The Role

Five Education is seeking a teacher or higher-level teaching assistant to teach a special class in a mainstream school in Bristol. You will be responsible for planning and teaching a small class of primary-aged children with SEND such as autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) and speech and language. You will be working with a specialized team of support staff and multi professions to ensure pupils' needs are met and strategies are put into place.

The successful candidate will either need to be a qualified teacher with SEND experience or an experienced HLTA that would be comfortable leading a small class and has excellent knowledge of SEND.

Essential Criteria

Experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Eligibility to work in the UK

Relevant references and DBS/police checks, if required

Availability to work five days a week (term time only), 8:30-15:30
