PARTS COORDINATOR
We are looking for a Full Time Parts Coordinator in the Las Vegas area.
Food production experience is a MUST
The Parts Coordinator position responsibilities are:
Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or electronically.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labelling equipment.
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
Dispose of damaged or defective items, return them to vendors if necessary.
Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists. Shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued
Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or co-workers, based on information from incoming requisitions
Purchase new or additional stock or prepare documents that are provided for such purchases
Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs.
Determine sequence and release of back orders according to stock availability
Minimum competencies, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Evaluate practices and procedures in regards to repairs, maintenance and safety. Make recommendations for improvement in these areas.
Ability to use a personal computer, tablet and smart phone as well as proficient in Microsoft programs such as Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
Frequent bend, stoops, twists, turns and work in unusual positions using full body mobility.
Potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical and biological agents existing in the healthcare environment.
Attend and participate in assigned training courses, to include technical and safety topic training.
Education, Experience and Travel
Prior parts/inventory department experience
Prior vendor management experience
Customer Service Oriented
Detail Oriented
High School Graduate
Some travel may be required
Must hold a valid drivers license and have a driving record showing zero felony or DUI convictions.
Potential exposure to hazardous physical, chemical and biological agents existing in the food/beverage production environment.
