Salary: $24/hr.

Location: Oldsmar, FL

Employment Type: Long term contract with potential for permanent employment

Clearance: Ability to obtain

This position is 1st shift (~5:30am - 3:30pm) and offers a 3 day weekend!

4 days, 10 hour shift schedule.

Qualifications:

High School Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience

Must be proficient solder technician or operator that has used re-work equipment

Must have experience with surface mount components

Experience with IPC standards

Ability to work 10 hours of weekly overtime

Ability to obtain secret clearance

Responsibilities:

Uses microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering and perform post re-flow inspection and touch-up.

Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts / leads, tombstoned and or billboarded components and any out solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation.

Read instructions and identify standard SMT components.

Work in a fast-paced environment where some overtime may be required.

Use rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal (ERSA or other OEM)
