This is an exciting time to be at FranConnect! We recently completed our third acquisition in four years with the addition of RizePoint to our product stack. RizePoint is a company that specializes in compliance software for large enterprises in the food, hospitality, and retail industries.

The Senior Software Engineer’s main objective is to work with the engineering team to build upon and develop server-side technology. In addition to, maintenance of mission critical features and ensuring quality work through detailed unit testing.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Execute within the RizePoint architecture vision, by coding product features and technical solutions to support scale and performance needs.

Work within an agile development environment to provide clear implementation plans and provide any training and/or documentation.

Work with Software Development Management, Product and Customer Success to scope and prioritize the most important capabilities of the RizePoint platform.

Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the application architecture and estimate accurate development time required to accomplish tasks.

Practice good craftsmanship by writing unit tests and following development standards.

Participate in RizePoint community outreach by joining technical user-groups and contributing to RizePoint thought leadership.Requirements:

BA degree in computer science or equivalent in experience

5+ years experience building commercial products using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Classic ASP)

Practical experience working with SQL Server plus common ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper, etc.)

Understanding of cloud-based development and SCRUM/Agile Methodology

Familiarity with GIT repositories and check-in procedures

Ability to identify and compare available open-source solutions for inclusion in the RizePoint technology stack

Must demonstrate ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment with geographic footprint spread across the globe (US and India)

Flexibility to travel travel to HQ office in Herndon, VA for training or company meetings
