Description

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Oracle Finance solutions that align with the organization's financial objectives and overall business strategy.

This position requires deep expertise in Oracle Financials, as well as a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

1. Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of Oracle Finance solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.

2. System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Oracle Financials with other business systems, such as CRM, BI tools or any third-party application.

3. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and consultants working on Oracle Finance projects.

4. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical requirements.

5. Solution Development: Oversee the development and configuration of Oracle Financial modules, customizations, and extensions as needed.

6. System Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize Oracle Finance solutions to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability.

7. Compliance: Ensure that finance and accounting processes and solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

8. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with Oracle and third-party vendors.

9. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and configuration guides.

10. Mentoring and Training: Mentor and train team members and super-users on Oracle Finance best practices and solutions.

Stay Informed: Stay up-to-date with Oracle updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends in finance and technology.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) is a plus.

2. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Financial modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, or other advanced modules with good understanding of other Oracle pillars like Supply Chain, CX or HCM.

3. Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.

4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Cloud Financials.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

8. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

9. Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to finance and accounting.

10. Familiarity with data analytics tools and reporting solutions.

11. Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL is a plus.

12. Change management and process improvement experience.
