Job Description
This position allows for 1-2 days per week remote / from home.
Salary: $80,000 - 130,000/year
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects related to Data Centers
Work with Primavera P6 for project scheduling
Independently interpret and comprehend detailed construction drawings, spanning Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, and other disciplines, to gain a clear understanding of work scope.
Review contractor's baseline schedule submissions, ensuring correct identification and logical sequencing of all work scope, and provide detailed written schedule review comments.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) on contractor schedule submittals, examining critical path, cost loading, resource loading of man-hours, schedule content, recovery schedules, use of logic relationships, lags, constraints, and milestones for contract compliance.
Perform schedule Time Impact Analysis for change orders affecting the construction schedule, and engage in schedule negotiations with the Owner Authority Representative (OAR) and contractors for delay time settlements.
Evaluate drawings to determine if work is within or outside the scope, and understand contract terms and conditions to assess compensable or non-compensable time extensions.
Conduct Critical Path analysis and Earned Value analysis to monitor project progress
Required Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years full time paid professional experience in Scheduling for an owner or General Contractor, preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects
Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version or P6
Experience working on Data Center Projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Superior organizational and planning skills
Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
Understanding of theories, principles and practices of cost engineering, scheduling and schedule forensics
