About the Team

This team is part of Merchant Solution group and involved in continuous development of an European omni-channel and acquiring payment solution – connecting and simplifying payments across all your sales channels, whether in-store, online or mobile. The product offers a secure end to end payment processing by bringing together Point of Sale, integrated payments and acquiring into one complete service. It has a capability of handling funds, managing charges & settlement across multiple currencies and caters to Merchants from multiple geographies. It services both SMB as well as Enterprise level merchants. This is a highly scalable platform that handles millions of transactions per day.

What you will be doing

Developing/Coding using Java 8 and REST API

Developing and maintaining on creating JMeter/LoadRunner scripts and maintain reusability with scripting guidelines/standards.

Working closely with development, Architecture, Infrastructure and Engineering teams for test and data planning, analysis and defining success criteria.

Analyzing system architecture using shared resources, CPU, memory storage, networks.

Preparing performance test Strategy, Test plan, load test scenarios, test closure, Report Statistics for web application, API.

Contributing to identify performance bottleneck and providing recommendations.

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Handling project end to end individually by performing activities like requirement gathering, designing scenarios, analysis of performance tests and reporting results with recommendations.

What you bring:

A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

5+ years of experience in Programming and Performance Testing

3+ years of hands-on experience in Performance testing.

2+ years, Programming experience in Java 8

3+ years, Programming in REST API

1+ year experience in Jboss Performance Tuning, Debugging and Optimization

2+ years’ experience in Java Memory Profiling, Debugging and Optimization

Basic knowledge of Oracle database concepts and SQL queries for data validation and verification, Unix commands.

Java profiling experience – heap and thread dump analysis is desirable.

In depth knowledge & experience of performance test tools Jmeter, Loadrunner and APM tools like Dynatrace

Experience in testing Soap and RESTful webservices.

Excellent experience in creating performance test scripts, analyzing reports, and providing recommendations.

Experience with working in an Agile environment preferably SAFe Agile

Ability to estimate work effort for project sub-plans or small projects and ensure the project is successfully completed.

Ability to summarize / present technical information in a manner that others can understand.

A self-starter, ability to work independently.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential areas of improvement.
