Job Summary:

The PRN In Home Caregiver at Village Caregiving - Eau Claire is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical role located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. This individual contributor position will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality care to clients in their homes. The caregiver will work on a PRN (as needed) basis, and the schedule may vary based on client needs. The key responsibility of this role is to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological wellbeing of the clients under Village Caregiving's care.

Compensation & Benefits:

The PRN In Home Caregiver will receive competitive hourly compensation ranging from $15 to $25 per hour, paid monthly. Village Caregiving also offers a supportive and inclusive work environment, ongoing training and professional development opportunities, and flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to clients in their homes, following individualized care plans and instructions from the Care Coordinator.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

• Administer medications and assist with other medical tasks as directed by the client's physician or Care Coordinator.

• Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the Care Coordinator.

• Promote and maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.

• Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner.

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

• Attend ongoing training and development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a healthcare/medical setting.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Ability to pass a background check..

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift and transfer clients up to 50 pounds.

• Compassionate, dependable, and able to work independently.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain).
