Who We Want

SPEVCO is hiring a Class A CDL Driver and Operations Specialist, specifically within Robeson County, NC. This is a CDL driving position that will allow you to stay close to home and be home on a nightly basis. Do you have Class A driving experience? What You’ll Really Be Doing

Driving is just the beginning of this position. Spevco’s Class A CDL Drivers and Exhibit Operators are transporting and operating one-of-a-kind, custom exhibits in support of our clients’ needs. In this case, we're operating mobile medical facilities in Robeson County, NC. You'll be driving and setting up mobile medical facilities in support of this community's medical needs. We're looking for someone who;

Can participate in training at Spevco HQ, Pfaftown, NC, prior to the start of this program

Safely drives Class A Vehicles

Safely operates nd sets up custom expandable vehicles

Can be the face of Spevco to our client and to the community

Enjoys helping people in their community

Takes pride in their work and in keeping their vehicle and exhibit space spotless

Likes being home on a daily/nightly basis

Always follows safety guidelines

Have fun in the process

What You Get Paid

The Nitty Gritty Requirements and Preferences

Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record

2 years Class A driving experience - strongly preferred

Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate

Experience with moving, setting up, and maintaining custom expandable vehicles, strongly preferred

Understanding of DOT compliance, logs, hours of service, and safety - required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong client service skills and a desire to help our clients achieve their goals

Comfortable troubleshooting mechanical and technological problems with Spevco’s expert support

Ability to self-manage and work independently for long periods of time

Computer skills – Ability to use a tablet computer (Android-based), email, MS Excel, electronic logs

Willingness to maintain a clean vehicle and spotless exhibit space

Strong safety mindset and willingness to be part of and promote our safety culture

Team player who can also perform without supervision

Physical & Mental Requirements

Must have the physical and mental strength and endurance to be able to perform duties, in at times extreme environments, as well as the ability to handle stressors of the position in operational and administrative situations. Required to frequently lift and move 50-100 pounds. Expected to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, lift, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, talk, hear, taste, smell, see, and operate objects, tools, and controls.
