Job Description

Designated as Lead Electrical Engineer, mentor other electrical staff.

Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environment.

Conduct field investigations when needed, produce field reports with detailed sketches.

Perform duties with multiple projects within the established schedules and budgets.

Work on a wide variety of project types, scales and complexity.

Work on concurrent projects.

Assist in developing feasibility studies.

Meet, communicate, and coordinate with Clients to develop scopes, prepare proposals, and oversee the installation of the work, and manage internal and external project budgets.

Perform all work in a safe and responsible manner, in accordance with the Health and Safety Plan.

Possess aptitude to act as a positive representative of the company and its core values.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.

(5) or more years relevant work experience in the industrial sector (10+ is preferred).

Professional Engineer (PE) Registration preferred, but not required

Working knowledge of NEC, IEC, ISA & IEEE design complying with industry standards is a plus.

AutoCAD and/or Revit skills preferred, but not mandatory.

Specification writing skills required.

Management experience of electrical an engineering group is preferred.

Arc-flash study experience a plus.

Ability to visit and safely traverse construction and project sites and complying with all applicable safety codes and requirements.
