Warehouse helper/journeyman

Job Description

Paragon Staffing,LLC is looking for a Warehouse journeyman to join our team. This position works on the warehouse floor, filling conveyor belts and other related duties. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, stand for long periods while fulfilling orders and also participate in warehouse general maintenance and cleaning.

Responsibilities and duties include:

Inventory - Maintain an inventory list and assist with restocking products and supplies as needed. Report defective products as discovered and maintain thorough notes and paperwork.

General labor: Perform general warehouse duties such as pick,pack,wrap, loading/unloading trucks and palletizing materials. Must be able to work in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons.

Safety and maintenance – Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized work station. Participate in warehouse maintenance and cleaning and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required

Prior knowledge of warehouse experience is preferred.

Able to use hand tools and power tools.

Supervising experience is a plus.

Must be mechanically inclined.

Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift and pallet jacks.

Facilities/general warehouse maintenance experience is a plus.

Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse.

Heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour

Schedule/shift:

1st shift: 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.

2nd shift: 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M.

Rotating schedule;Must be able to work during the weekends.

Somerset,NJ (must be able to travel/commute)
