Junior Accountant

Malander is seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Accountant for our client based in Midrand for a contract position. The ideal individual will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in recording financial transactions accurately and maintaining financial records;

Help prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets under the supervision of senior accounting staff;

Assist in processing invoices, payments, and customer receipts;

Follow up on outstanding balances as needed;

Process financial data into accounting systems, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies under guidance. Requirements:

Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in a similar role;

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;

Proficient in MS Office and accounting software;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

Microsoft D365 is advantageous.
