Truck Driver

“Home Every Night”! “Top Pay”! “New Equipment”! “Clean Environment”! Part-time CDL-A experienced driver to assist with transporting mobile imaging system each week. Great job opportunity for driver looking for +/- 24 hours a week. System services hospital locations in Canton/Akron OH area. A typical schedule would be 2-3 days per week with occasional weekend shifts. Hours would be variable between morning, afternoon, and evening.

Job requires a clean driving record, dependable and courteous personality. The truck driver will report to the operations manager. The truck driver will observe all federal, state, and local laws governing intra and interstate transport. The truck driver will observe all company rules and policies covering intra or interstate transport.

A minimum age of twenty-one (21) years.

Required to meet DOT physical qualifications and pass all drug screen tests.

A minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver of commercial motor vehicles similar to the type of equipment utilized by the Company or successful completion of the Company’s documented training program.

No record of a license suspension or revocation for more than thirty (30) days, for any reason, during the thirty-six (36) month period prior to the date of the motor vehicle record.

No record of citation or conviction for the violations listed below during the thirty-six (36) month period prior to the order date of the motor vehicle record.

No record of citation or convictions for more than four (4) motor vehicle violations (excluding those listed in requirement (6) during the thirty-six (36) month period prior to the order date of the motor vehicle record).

No record of involvement in more than two (2) at-fault traffic accidents while operating a motor vehicle during the thirty-six (36) month period prior to the order date of the motor vehicle record.

No record of involvement in more than two (2) at-fault traffic accidents and not more than two (2) motor vehicle violations while operating a motor vehicle during the thirty-six (36) month period prior to the order date of the motor vehicle record.

No record of involvement in more than one (1) at-fault traffic accident and more than three (3) motor vehicle violations while operating a motor vehicle during the thirty-six (36) month period prior to the order date of the motor vehicle.

Inspects tractor and trailer for defects before and after trips, including truck equipment and supplies such as tires, brakes, fuel, oil, and water, an submits a vehicle condition report indicating the condition of the equipment.

Drives tractor and trailer combination to origin and destinations.

Maintains driver reports according to company policies, and Department of Transportation regulations.
