Job Description

A Chemical Plant Project Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing chemical processes and equipment in a plant. They work to improve production processes, minimize waste, and ensure a safe working environment. The Chemical Plant Project Engineer conducts research, analyzes data, and designs solutions to improve production processes and equipment. They oversee the overall design and construction of a facility, then manage ongoing operations. They also seek out new and more efficient ways of using and producing existing products, explore and develop new processes and products, and determine their usefulness and applicability. The Chemical Plant Project Engineer may be responsible for the design, construction, and start-up of a specific process in a facility. They work closely with a team of skilled engineers to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and ensuring a safe working environment.
