Job Description:
Understand the Projects Business Goals and Success Criteria, and ensure teams effort towards
meeting them
End to end Project ownership - Delivery, Scope Management, Client Relations, Team
Management, Process Adherence and Continuous Communication.
Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project
goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from
initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
Keep Stakeholders (Client and Management) informed of project progress and proactively
highlight roadblocks.
The candidate is responsible for client communication and keeping the client updated with
progress, change requests, project impediments
Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
Instill good Agile practices within the team and ensure checkpoints to track implementation off-
key ceremonies, BDD, TDD etc
Identify client feedback and enhancement requests, and convey this information to our team
Active participation in tracking / resolving Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues,
conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and
directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and
issues, communicating across leadership
Continuous and regular follow up with the team on process compliances. Responsible for the
project compliances like timely code review, project feedback reporting, project documentation
Responsible for project risk identification, evaluation and risk mitigation
Constructive & active participation in meetings and forums
Proactive contribution of ideas & special projects implementation to ensure and increase overall
business productivity, output and efficiency
Flexible to adapt to change to meet business needs.
Ensure that the team feels valued and supported and help them to achieve their personal
ambitions keeping the program targets in mind
Participate with fair & unbiased evaluation of the candidates on their Technical and Process
knowledge and capability, in consideration of business requirements.
Provide ongoing training and timely feedback. Participate in the performance appraisal
discussions
Requirements
Engage with the Development and Offering teams to facilitate the process of distilling
requirements into Development tasks.
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Work with client project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and
deliverables
Work with internal and external stakeholders to track the progress of deliverables related to client
contracts.
In some activities this might involve running scans on the source code.
Advise other professionals. Effectively utilize group dynamics. Negotiate to define approaches
and goals.
Working knowledge of Very good understanding of Agile delivery practices
Experience with data management best practices, data governance, business architecture and BI
Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices
Experience in managing expectations from Business users and understanding the Business
processes
Capacity to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results. The candidate must be
good in project scope management and change request management.
Should be comfortable in working in ambiguous situations
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to influence senior
management, technical and functional experts
Proactive and self-starter attitude - should not require follow-ups from hierarchy.
Willingness to pick additional roles and responsibilities as per the business need.
Driven, confident, organized and accomplished problem solver
Previous experience with Database design and architecture design is a MUST
