Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming and outgoing communication
Work closely with patients to help as their advocate as far as pre-registration, registration, insurance verification, referrals
Obtain forms or additional information and update patient files
Help resolve or escalate issues as needed
Qualifications
Attention to detail
At least 1 year of recent experience working in a healthcare or medical environment with similar responsibilities
Proficiency in computer systems including EMR
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
Compensation
This is an hourly position paying about $18-21/hr depending on experience
Hours for this position are standard workweek hours, Monday through Friday
This is an in-person, full time, temp-to-hire position
