House Legal Counsel
Summary of Responsibilities
Under the guidance of company strategy and following local laws and regulations, this position provides legal advice, consultation, legal supervision, and risk warnings to business units. It empowers and guides the construction of the legal system for overseas operating companies to ensure timely prevention and control of the company's legal risks.
Major Job Duties
Organize the establishment of business-related regulations and systems, proposing plans for the abolition, amendment, and establishment of such systems.
Assist management in providing legal opinions on major business decisions.
Offer legal consultation for company operations, issuing legal opinions on important decisions, major projects, and contracts.
Review the legality, validity, and protection of rights in company contracts.
Participate in major contract negotiations.
Compile legal compliance guidelines.
Prevent and monitor foreign risks related to the company's business, conduct risk investigations, and report risks.
Conduct regular compliance audits of business operations.
Provide professional line business guidance related to the field.
Participate and assist in conducting legal compliance, risk prevention, and professional line training and dissemination for various units and companies.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in law or related fields
5 years or more of related work experience, with a valid local lawyer's license required.
Knowledge of associated industries and the ability to analyze industry trends.
Communication, negotiation, and the ability to drive and solve problems.
Team management abilities.
Fluent in spoken and written English & Mandarin, Spanish is a plus.
