Mosaic is seeking a Controller to join our growing finance team. Our Controller will report directly to Mosaic’s Chief Financial Officer and work on varying strategic projects. Your main task will be to prepare and present financial statements and models to the executive team as well as ensure the general financial health of the business. The Controller is responsible for maintaining the company's financial database to ensure financial reporting is always up-to-date and accurate.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient management of the organization's financial resources
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts by location
Manage the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Coordinate the annual audit and tax preparation processes with external auditors and tax accountants
Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations
Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections, and manage cash flow and banking activities
Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and growth strategies
Collaborate with management to identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance team

What You’ll Bring:
Insatiable professional drive and intellectual curiosity
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task to consistently and accurately meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field required
CPA Required
5+ years’ of accounting and financial management experience, preferably in a healthcare or professional services setting
Experience in a Controller or VP of Finance level position
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and practices
Expert knowledge of risk management concepts, with emphasis on internal controls over financial reporting
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage and lead a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with accounting software and systems, knowledge of automated financial systems
