Network Engineer

Roles / Responsibility's:

Design, install and configure internal and customer facing servers, network devices

and firewalls.

Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of Microsoft Windows Servers & Linux

Server.

Good knowledge of computers and networks, including LAN knowledge, proxy

servers, network design/implementation (AD, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP), VPNs,

network troubleshooting, and hardware configuration/troubleshooting.

Good Knowledge LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and

troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks)

Good Knowledge in Domain, SSL & Hosting Management.

Good Knowledge in Cloud Computing. (AWS or AZURE or GCP).

Good Knowledge in Managing the Mailbox in GSuite / O365 / Microsoft Exchange

Server.

Good Knowledge in Version Control System ( GIT / SVN ).

Proactively manage and maintain server, network and firewall systems

Administer and support core Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix and VMware technologies

Design and implement monitoring, configuration management and reporting functions

that will make a hands-off environment.

Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional

weekend maintenance.

Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.

Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom and software vendor evaluation,

recommendation and negotiations Mentor / cross train team members on existing

and new technologies

Carry out special tasks at Management's direction.

Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required.
