Job Title: Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. This position requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.

4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.

5. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management to support decision-making.

6. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

7. Assist with audits and tax filings.

8. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

9. Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations.

10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

2. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification preferred.

3. Minimum of [X] years of experience in accounting or a related field.

4. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
