QC INSPECTOR (ROTATING EQUIPMENT)

ïƒ Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.

ïƒ Minimum required years of experience 5 years.

ïƒ Excellent knowledge and experience on initial inspection, in-between inspection and final inspection of various rotating equipment and its parts.

ïƒ A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles for inspecting rotating equipment. This includes knowledge of materials, mechanics, dynamics, and thermodynamics.

ïƒ Good knowledge of various types of rotating equipment, their components, operating procedure, and maintenance requirements is crucial.

ïƒ Proficient in using a variety of inspection techniques and tools such as ultrasonic testing, vibration analysis, thermography, and lubricant analysis to assess the condition of rotating equipment and identify potential issues.

ïƒ Hands on skill on use of inspection tools and instruments such as Air Gage, Balancing machine and system, microscope, Bore and ID Gages, Borescopes, Calipers, CMM probes, Color Meters.

ïƒ Knowledge of dimensional inspection to ensure proper alignment, fit and clearance of rotating components.

ïƒ Detailed understanding of quality control processes and procedures to ensure that rotating equipment meets the required quality standards and specifications.

ïƒ Hands-on experience working with rotating equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly desirable.

ïƒ Documentation skill to accurately document inspection findings, prepare inspection reports, and communicate to the internal team and or to relevant customer/clients.

ïƒ Knowledge of relevant industry standard (API) and specifications of rotating equipment.
