Job Overview:

As an Instructional Designer and content specialist at Vjal Institute, you will play a pivotal role in transforming complex technical concepts into engaging, effective, and concise learning modules. This position is instrumental in our mission to offer high-quality e-learning experiences to our audience.

Job Details:

● Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify the target audience's training needs.

● Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.

● Design and develop interactive simulations, assessments, and practice activities.

● Transform complex technical information into easy-to-understand, bite-sized modules.

● Produce high-quality storyboards, scripts, and course outlines.

● Use authoring tools and software to produce e-learning materials that are compatible with leading learning management systems (LMS).

● Ensure all courses are consistent in terms of branding, messaging, and instructional approach.

● Constantly evaluate the effectiveness of training modules and courses, making improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

Ideal Candidate Profile and Experience:

● Minimum 5 years of experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.

● Proven working experience in e-learning courses and lessons creation.

● Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models, with particular emphasis on the ADDIE model.

● Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.

● Proficiency in visual design skills, and ability to storyboard.

● Strong written and oral communication skills.

● Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts.

● Technical and Professional Skills:

● Strong command of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and other web technologies.

● Expertise in the ADDIE model, LMS systems, and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Zoomforth, Camtasia, etc.

● Skills in graphic and animation design.

● Proficiency in content creation tools, including PowerPoint.

● Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple small to large projects in a cross-functional environment.

● Proficient in storytelling methodologies to craft engaging narratives.

● Exceptional problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
