A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Develop and implement business plans including strategies, objectives, tactics, and budgets to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Implement policies in all areas of Marketing, Finance etc. to attain organizational goals. Work on business intelligence and competition insights.
Develop effective marketing strategies, and conduct new product launches, and maintain market share and significantly increase annual sales.
Liaison with Internal and external stakeholders and work towards Stroke therapy development.
Key responsibilities:
Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s).
Works with sales team towards product planning, product launches, product management, market development and market research activities.
Inventory planning, forecasting, working with Indian and global teams to ensure product availability to sales team
Be the face of Medtronic in front of the customer, spend time in field with the sales team to understand challenges and work towards improving overall delivery of our products and services
Facilitates and coordinates marketing activities with geographic areas to increase teamwork and build partnerships.
Coordinating trade show activities and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.
Monitor sales and marketing activities, controlling related activities like sales analysis, sales monitoring, market research and marketing/product training
Sustain the highest levels of customer service in terms of product quality, pricing, and value
Complying with all regulations and laws in Quality, and Commerce etc.
Direct efforts of team to get information on competitor activities in the region, track competitor information on a monthly basis,
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
BSc/BE/ other degrees in science
PG degree in Business Management is mandatory
Minimum 7-9 years of work experience
Strong analytical and data skills
Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.Nice to Have
Experience in critical care segment
Good experience in product launches
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: good verbal communicator and presenter
Professional presentation and 'Presence'
Can work autonomously but is also a team player
