LIONBRIDGE Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager works with internal and external clients to manage the timely flow of all localization project actions from initiation to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, turn-around time and budget expectations. This position is based at Mumbai, India.

What You Will Do

Project Planning and Monitoring:

Scope and quote projects for clients.

Plan and monitor projects for deadline, quality, and budget adherence.

Proactively identify and manage project risks.

Minimize disruptions and delays to ensure project success.

Collaborate with internal teams to implement procedural changes and customized workflows.

Be familiar with all production tools, providing support, training, and troubleshooting assistance as needed.

Provide reports and updates to management & stakeholders on project status.

Financial Oversight:

Monitor and maintain project financials, including revenue recognition and forecasting.

Ensure accuracy of financial data, workflows, schedules, and processes.

Client Management:

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for external clients.

Manage client relationships, setting and managing expectations.

Resolve questions and issues in a timely manner for clients and internal teams.

Ensure successful project delivery, meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Identify and escalate critical project issues with potential solutions.

Leadership and Mentorship:

Provide guidance and mentorship to project coordinators and junior team members.

Foster skill development for team members.

Strategic Planning:

Contribute to the development of strategic project plans.

Allocate resources effectively for timely and high-quality project completion.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously improve and streamline project management processes.

Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

Collaborate with production teams to create and maintain project-specific procedures and solutions.

Initiate procedural changes and customized workflows for efficiency.

To Be Successful You Will Have

Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field fluency in multiple languages is advantageous.

5+ years of project management experience, preferably in leadership roles.

Localization expertise and understanding of related processes and tools.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other CAT tools.

Proven ability to work under pressure, ensuring high-quality results in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within multicultural and remote team settings.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, including proficiency in project management software.
