Global Logistics Support Services, (GLSS), an S Inc. company, has an immediate opening for an Aircraft Worker for one of our Aircraft Repair operations at Jacksonville, NAS, FL.

Duties:

Performs repairs to aircraft following orders from higher grade workers.

Assists in troubleshooting malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic systems, engines, auxiliary power units, ventilation, and heating systems.

Removes, cleans, reinstalls, and replaces defective parts, accessories, and components such as worn gaskets, couplings, fittings, bad actuators, accumulators, gauges, sections of corroded fuel, and oil lines.

This worker may supervise the jacking and towing of aircraft, make adjustments, set cable tension, and adjust seat movement.

Obtain standard parts such as fuel and oil line connections and fittings, cable linkage, spark plug cables, and harnesses by referring to parts manuals and making comparisons with samples.

May perform pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections; enter in the maintenance records a description of the work performed.

Services engines and aircraft components at the line station, making repairs and short-term overhauls required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition.

Requirements:

Active Secret Security Clearance

Experience:

Maintaining P-8A Aircraft highly is desirable.
