Otolaryngology Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

An established ENT practice in the greater Houston, TX area is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. Work alongside a team of board-certified Physicians and APPs. Candidates with previous ENT experience as well as recent graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

Full-time permanent position, clinic based, Monday-Friday schedule

Examine patients, take medical history, record results, and make preliminary diagnosis

Document patient care services

Administer and order diagnostic tests

Perform therapeutic procedures

Exercise professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising physicians concerning appropriate treatment

Develop and implement patient care plans, instruct and counsel patients, and record progress

Prescribe medications

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care

Qualifications:

Texas State License

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
