Lead Information Designer & User Interaction Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled designer with expertise in visual storytelling through user interfaces, prototypes, dashboards and interactive infographics. The role requires translating complex information, concepts and user requirements into visually appealing outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our internal research teams to produce dashboards and infographics for elections forecasting, market research and consulting projects.

Collaborate with our product management teams and developers to deliver user-centric design solutions for ‘a’ - our people empowerment platform.

Collaborate with our marketing and partnership teams to produce collateral as needed.

Conceptualization: Create wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design intent and functionality.

Data Transformation: Distil complex information into clear, comprehensible visual formats (e.g., charts, infographics, dashboards)

Industry Awareness: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging trends and best practices in UI and information design, including the use of open-source tools.

Qualifications:

Portfolio: A compelling portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI and information design capabilities.

Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Flourish).

Analytical Mindset: The ability to approach data sets methodically and develop well-reasoned solutions.

Desired Attributes:

Experience and empathy for designing for Indian language users.

Experience in visualizing large data sets for non-technical audiences is a big plus.
