Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee standardization and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.

Define and meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet daily performance expectations and to increase the company’s overall market share.

Specific Duties Include:

Achieve high levels of company satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods.

Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance

Organize and maintain inventory and storage area according to safety standards

Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy

The role requires an understanding of the sales order process as applicable to materials and safety standards

Maintain procedures and items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status

Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices

Confer and coordinate activities with other areas while adhering to warehouse mission

Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from the warehouse; coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.

Delivers supplies and equipment to projects by receiving and transferring items.

Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; and recommending improvements.

Responsible for the basic inventory management function for the area supported including; timely processing of materials movements, and the physical inventory verification process

Maintains accurate inventory by conducting physical counts; reconciling variances; and inputting data.

Work with operations to keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; and calling for repairs.

Keeps maintenance and repair records; performs preventive maintenance on all equipment; orders repair parts within controls

Manages assets (fleet, equipment, etc.) as required.

Ensures that hazmat compliance is maintained according to company expectations and partners with EHS to ensure compliance

The position is responsible for ensuring warehouse safety and hazmat compliance including training, documentation, audits, and reporting.

Job Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor

Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques

Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations

Knowledge of software packages and MS Office proficiency, Quickbooks a plus

Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data

Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

Safety Management.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75k - $90k
