The Clinical Services Team Lead is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual willing to take initiative and join a multi-disciplinary team in meeting the developmental needs of children and their families.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing trusting relationships with children, youth and families to assess the needs of children using an Indigenous Holistic Assessment Tool for assessment & planning to address the needs of children, youth and their families.

To work in partnership with parents to ensure children are utilizing Jordan’s Principle supports and services to their fullest potential to improve the lives of children and their families.

Requirments

Bachelor of Social Work Degree and a minimum of 2 years experience in the Social Services Field

Must have an understanding of the impacts of Colonization and work with families from a Strengths-based approach

Ability to build trusting relationships with Children, Youth and Families

Ability to use a Holistic Assessment Tool to assess the needs of Children, Youth & Families and implement supports & services that result from assessment

Ability to oversee the Clinical Services Team to ensure Children, Youth, and Families are utilizing Jordan’s Principle's services to their full potential

Ability to conduct systems meetings with Community Resources/External Agencies to bridge gaps for services for Children, Youth & Families

Complete case reviews and compile assessment documentation for all Children & Youth receiving services from Jordan’s Principle

Train the Clinical Services Team to apply for appropriate funding to meet the needs of Children, Youth & Families

Organize monthly/quarterly training sessions for Jordan’s Principle Service providers to raise awareness & engagement with parents to ensure services are being utilized to their fullest potential

Must be able to work professionally and maintain strict confidentiality

Must have the ability to work as a team leader in a positive way and empower their members to take the initiative to strive for the best for their Children, Youth and Families

Willing to submit to pre-employment drug testing and future random drug testing
