R D Hoag & Associates LLC, a regional certified public accounting and consulting firm with offices in Carnegie, PA and Florida, has been practicing in Western Pennsylvania for over 40 years. Our commitment is to provide sound, traditional and innovative accounting, financial and business management services to our clients.

Our practice includes a full range of services: auditing, tax preparation and tax management; bookkeeping, business valuation; estate planning; financial and retirement planning and business succession planning. Our specialized industries include manufacturing; distributors; construction; hospitality, retailer; trucking; automobile; nonprofit and service organizations.

We are currently seeking an experienced tax professional to join our expanding tax practice.

Responsibilities of this position include tax preparation and problem-solving abilities, ability to review the work of staff accountants and supervise them, the preparation and review of relevant workpapers, and other related tasks. We have a team approach to provide high quality client service for tax compliance, planning, financial statements, and general business consulting.

A strong candidate must:

Have a bachelor's degree in accounting

Be a licensed CPA or have a desire to progress towards CPA certification

Possess excellent computer and written and oral communication skills

Have 4+ years of recent tax experience - including a supervisory role - in a public accounting environment

Experience with UltraTax is a plus!
