Federal Sales Executive

Job Description

Salary:

This position requires a candidate with experience in federal IT sales. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in Federal Sales, specifically in selling IT hardware, software, and services to federal government end users. It is crucial that they have a proven track record of successfully driving and expanding sales within a Federal IT agency.

In addition to the core qualifications mentioned, the following skills and experiences are also important:

Meeting or exceeding monthly quota.

At least three solid years of experience in IT Sales to the Federal Government, including IT services, products, and solutions.

Familiarity with SEWP or any other GWAC (Government-Wide Acquisition Contract) experience.

Willingness to learn how to sell via an SDVOSB VAR (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Value Added Reseller).

Detailed understanding of the Government contracting acquisition process.

Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.

Proven experience in identifying and capturing sole Federal Government business.

Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to persuade and engage effectively.

Positive and proactive attitude.

Strong knowledge of at least two Government customers/agencies.

User-level experience in Windows 10, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PDF viewer (e.g., Adobe Reader); and MS Teams.

Overall, the ideal candidate should possess a proven and established background in selling IT hardware, software, and services to the federal government. They should have a track record of helping drive and grow a Federal IT agency sales unit, along with excellent people skills and a sound understanding of the technologies supported, including storage, networking, computing, backup, and more.
