The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for our unique opportunity, Regional Director of Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplantation, based within our Northern Virginia service area. This is a full-time shareholder-track position.

What You Can Expect:

Overseeing & supporting all 3 of our service area heart failure teams

Supportive environment as the program grows and evolves

Tyson’s Corner Medical Center is the primary base for our Heart Failure Clinic

Light call shared between the group

Unique and exciting opportunity to build a comprehensive program for congestive heart failure across the spectrum of care, integrating innovation solutions for chronic disease management and care of critically ill patients across the Mid-Atlantic

Minimum Requirements:

MD or DO

Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology

Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Fellowship

Expertise in advanced therapies in Heart Failure

Clinical experience in managing patients with advanced heart failure, including the management of inotropes, temporary and durable Mechanical Cardiac Support, and pre- and post- heart transplantation management

Prior leadership experience is preferred

Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
