As Director, Digital IT – CRM, Business Intelligence and AI Applications, you will be responsible for defining the technology strategy and building execution plans for business intelligence, digital analytics, and CRM platforms. You will collaborate with Sales Enablement and support, e-commerce, and marketing teams to build customer and business intelligence solutions that help our associates identify opportunities enabling them to accelerate digital adoption while driving incremental revenue. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Digital Information Technology.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage and oversee teams facilitating the architecture, implementation and on-going support of CRM, Business Intelligence and Digital Analytics platforms
Develop and execute upon a strategic roadmap for Artificial Intelligence platform and its applications across Beacon’s portfolio of services
Partner with marketing, sales and product management teams to identify opportunities and build solutions that can help drive revenue and efficiency
Maintain and update the technical delivery roadmap for features and enhancements across CRM, Business Intelligence and Digital Analytics platforms
Technical Ownership of A/B testing tools, Session Replay and Digital Analytics platforms facilitating marketing and e-commerce teams with their adoption and usage
Facilitate sunsetting of legacy business intelligence platform and consolidate all dashboard & reporting capabilities through a modern consolidated BI solution
Research, identify and select innovative data warehouse offerings that serves as the future of Beacon’s data warehouse needs and drive the implementation along with the roll out plan
Manage and oversee third party SW and implementation partner relationships
Hire and mentor team members, nurture and cultivate talent to prepare future technology leaders at Beacon
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer or data science and/or relevant work experience
12+ years leading and supporting CRM Applications, Business Intelligence & Digital Analytics platforms
8+ years of experience managing technology teams
3+ years of experience leading or implementing solutions leveraging AI/Machine Learning to solve business challenges preferably in supply chain or distribution space
Extensive knowledge of data analytics, data-science, natural language processing, machine learning, text mining, and LLMs
Proven experience driving customer and stakeholder value through technology solutions
Extensive experience with Business Intelligence platforms and Data Warehouses such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos BI, Snowflake, Big Query, Red Shift etc.
Experience managing and supporting CRM/Sales platforms preferably Salesforce
Experience working with Python and leveraging Azure Open AI, Google Bard etc
Proven experience working with and deploying solutions to Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure
Proven critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills with tolerance for ambiguity
Experience with Agile development and delivery model
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of business acumen, financial concepts, and procedures
Working conditions
This position is a remote role. Travel to corporate office, branches, conference and/or meeting site may be required on a periodic basis.
