We are seeking an enthusiastic Physical Therapist to join us as the Clinic Director of our beautiful Chesapeake- Western Branch location! This gorgeous location is situated in a medical facility with tons of natural light that gives off positive energy! We see a wide variety of patients from high school athletes, to weekend warriors to outpatient neuro. Two of our PT teammates are currently enrolled in the ortho and sports medicine residency programs, and we value the opportunity to learn with each other!

About the area:

We are a coastal setting, close to the beach for summer fun, and we are close to other beautiful areas like Williamsburg and Jamestown. Within our territory Ivy has 16 orthopedic clinics within 20 minutes from one another! This gives a unique opportunity to collaborate and learn with each other! We have engagements for learning, clinical round tables around treatment topics, and opportunities to discuss services and partnerships with local physicians.

Opportunity Overview:

The Clinic Director is an individual who functions and is designated as the clinic “CEO.”

As a PT, you will be conducting initial evaluations, reevaluations, treatment planning, and treatment implementation.

Responsible for daily operation of the clinic and oversight of clinical and non-clinical teammates

The CD is responsible to promote proper and efficient utilization of quality services and program development; helps develop and maintain systems to increase referrals and programmatic growth; where applicable, collaborates with and effectively responds to digital marketing strategies; communicates with local physicians, other medical staff, and program/service stakeholders across the care continuum to promote improved patient service in their local community.

Ability to cultivate and maintain a team-oriented and collaborative work environment.

Takes initiative in pursuing and directing continuing education for professional growth and competency for self and their team.

Coordinates selection, coaching, orientation, mentoring and goal setting to promote improved team members performance and quality of care enhancement.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program

Proof of current or pending state licensure as a Physical Therapist in respective state

Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in an outpatient setting

Demonstrated success in a managerial capacity.
