Job Overview:
Under the direction of the Radiologist or Cardiologist and the Manager of Cardiac Cath/Special Procedures, they are responsible for the operation of highly technical state of the art radiographic equipment. They are responsible and accountable for the patient outcomes in the cardiac cath/special procedures. Responsible for radiation safety practices in procedure rooms.
Job Requirements:
* Associate's Degree in Allied Health
* Successfully passed the Hemodynamic test
* EKG competency preferred
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
* CVT/CVIT
* Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS)
* BLS/CPR
* Unrestricted license from ODH if ARRT
* Understanding of aseptic technique
* 1+ years experience in a related field
Job Responsibilities:
- Able to proficiently perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
- Provides ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of the patients and families.
- Clinical/Technical Quality: Demonstrates proficiency, competency, and knowledge in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures and their associated equipment through CEU's.
- Clinical/Technical Quality: Maintains accurate records through the completion of all paperwork.
- Clinical/Technical Quality: Demonstrates organizational responsibility.

- Demonstrate proficiency in the ongoing evaluation, documentation, and care of patients and families
Sign-on Eligibility:
* 2 years or more of experience in Cardiac Cath as Rad Tech $35,000 sign on (2 years work commitment)
* Less than 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath as Rad Tech or no experience $17,500 SOB (1 year work commitment)
* Full time employment commitment required
* Rehires within 12 months are not eligible
