We are a boutique Construction Defect Litigation Firm.

Paul Walsh Law APC focus is handling construction claims and construction defect litigation.

We represent builders, general contractors, subcontractors and owners involved in a myriad of construction related claims, contract disputes and defect litigation.

We work with major insurance companies, builders and trade professionals providing them with top notch legal services through experienced construction defect attorneys able to handle every aspect of claims through trial.

We also take special care with handling risk management and contract drafting to help our clients avoid future litigation.

We are seeking a new Associate Attorney with Construction Defect Litigation Experience (1-3+ years) to join our team.

Your role will be a hybrid role that allows for a self-starter attorney to run with cases from start to finish with supervision, assistance and mentorship along the way, with some in-office work depending upon your experience and case needs.

The typical case work will include contract interpretation, legal research and evaluation of causes of action, defenses, drafting and responding to discovery, taking percipient and expert witness depositions, preparing and arguing motions, briefs and assistance for trial/arbitration.

The candidate will need to possess strong written and oral skills to engage with counsel and the court in hearings and oral argument and to keep clients apprised wtih routine reporting and updates on the case progress.

We communicate with our clients, carriers and experts regularly via phone, Zoom and in-person meetings, as well as written reports.

Our team seeks a self-starter willing to take guidance and to work with our small CD firm in a collaborative manner.

As a member of the Paul Walsh Law litigation department, you will work with our attorneys and owner and report to Paul Walsh, who has trained and mentored associates for over 25 years in the handling of construction defect litigation.

What You Will Do: Build and maintain relationships with clients and key personnel within our client companies.

You will earn your own reputation through hands-on experience and the opportunity to show your skills in both written form, oral argument at hearings and with examination of witnesses.

You will have the opportunity to be part of the decision-making process on cases and implement plans to accomplish the agreed upon case goals.

The job offers great flexibility for occasional in-office work and primarily remote assignments.

Salary range for this position is $130,000 - $155,000 per year, depending upon your experience.

We also offer bonuses for exceeding minimum hour requirements and reward excellent work.
