Hobby Lobby is a leading arts-and-crafts retailer, operating in forty-seven states. Our website has approximately 70,000 items and 3.5 million page views per day. We have custom applications that support over 1,000 stores and 40,000 employees nationwide. Our 1,000+ acre campus has over 10.5 million square feet of warehouse space with 40 miles of conveyors and advanced warehouse automation.

This is an in-person office position in Oklahoma City, located on a 1,000+ acre campus with an on-site clinic and pharmacy.
Primary Functions/Job Description
Build and maintain multi-tiered systems utilizing languages such as Java, C# and/or JavaScript
Explore and develop skills in new or unfamiliar technologies and frameworks
Work on tightly scoped, routine problems with guidance from other developers
Communicate and coordinate with management and other departments on project tasks
Prepare all appropriate user and technical documentation for assigned development projects
Provide end-user production support for in-house developed and purchased software including after-hours support scheduled on a rotating basis with other developers
Job Description - Requirements
Required Qualifications
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C# and/or JavaScript, or similar
Basic knowledge of a languageās features, but some advanced structures may still be unfamiliar
Knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional paradigms
Familiar with relational database design, preferably MS SQL Server or MySQLPreferred Skills
Familiarity in frameworks such as Spring Boot, .Net Core, etc.
Ability to write and debug SQL queries and stored procedures
Degree in Computer Science or MIS
Experience with the following:
Working with containerized platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, etc.
Model-View-Controller architectural pattern (ASP.NET MVC, Spring or similar)
Construct front-end applications using Angular, React, NextJS, etc.
Building applications using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DocumentDBBenefits include:
