Looking for a fast-paced and challenging opportunity? The Call Team Agent will be part of a dynamic team, supporting customers with processing their property insurance applications. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact on Florida citizens in need of assistance following a catastrophic flooding event.

These are temporary positions available from June through November (hurricane season) with assignments typically lasting from 3 weeks to up to 3 months. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Position is fully remote and minimum pay will be $16.29/hour.

As a Call Team Agent, you can expect to:

Utilize a virtual web-based desktop to handle inbound phone calls from Florida Citizens Property Insurance policyholders and insurance agents.

Answer complex or simple questions related to a specific insurance form, policy, procedure and/or guideline.

Review and evaluate applications for property insurance for acceptability and pricing decisions utilizing various underwriting tools and resources in accordance with Citizens’ underwriting guidelines and standards.

Be able to provide efficient, empathetic and accurate customer service in a professional manner for extended periods of time in accordance with the requirements of the contract.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a HS Diploma

Complete the Citizens’ Underwriting Trainee Program which typically is completed within 8 hours.

Have access to a personal computer or laptop to access the web based system.
