Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a coordinator to manage the day-to-day administrative operation of the biomedical engineering section of the Department of Medical Physics.

You Will:

Serve as the primary liaison between departmental leadership, engineering section supervisors, staff, hospital administration, and external vendors

Facilitate effective communication and support departmental initiatives.

Coordinate collecting and analyzing data from various sources to produce reports and maintain accurate records for equipment inventory, maintenance history, expenses, and other relevant information.

Assist in managing departmental operations, including quality assurance functions.

Provide technical/administrative guidance to staff, ensuring data integrity, and participating in regulatory inspections and surveys.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and criteria for evaluating quality assurance measures, and coordinate staff meetings and training sessions as needed.

Use computer software applications to design, implement, and maintain databases for biomedical equipment management programs, projects, and studies. Generate reports as directed.

Participate in special assignments and projects, including interdepartmental communications, emergency preparedness, compliance programs, and grant applications, as required by departmental leadership.

Train and supervise temporary staff and volunteers, establish schedules and priorities, and provide guidance on job-related matters.

You Need:

2-4 years of general business or healthcare management experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Database management and information analysis experience

Ability to prioritize different tasks in a high-volume office
