JOB DESCRIPTION

REI is seeking an experienced, knowledgeable, and passionate Director of Marketing who can advance our B2G marketing strategy and demonstrate a return on our marketing investments. Our Marketing Director, reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, will be the company’s visionary who continuously promotes our innovative blend of solutions and services across the federal landscape.

Responsibilities:

Lead a high-performing marketing team focused on growth, innovation, and results.

Design and implement comprehensive account based marketing strategies and budgets to create awareness of the REI brand and demand for REI solutions.

Collaborate with account teams to develop and implement comprehensive quarterly and annual marketing account and opportunity campaigns, including effective budget oversight and forecasting of outcomes.

Foster collaborative relationships with business develop teams, account teams, and subject matter experts across the organization to develop and deepen lead relationships for pipeline growth.

Strategize and collaborate with REI subject matter experts to develop compelling thought leadership to position REI as a technology innovator and leader in the public sector.

Lead the public relations program and vendor to enhance REI's public sector visibility and establish the organization as a leading authority in federal technology innovation.

Strategize and manage robust calendar of public sector events, including sponsorships and speaking opportunities.

Utilize advanced analytics tools for continuous monitoring and optimization of marketing program outcomes, including strategic allocation of resources and program adjustments based on detailed analysis of historical performance data and results.

Report on marketing campaign results to leadership.

Marketing vendor management.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree or master degree preferred

Over 15 years of relevant work experience, with at least 10 years of experience developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies for technology companies within the federal government contracting space

At least 10 years of experience managing Marketing and other staff

At least 10 years of experience integrating emerging marketing trends, technologies, and methodologies for digital marketing, content creation, and social media

Experience marketing technology professional services or software products to federal agencies

Experience managing the end-to-end marketing campaign processes, including research, planning, execution, and analysis

Experience marketing automation tools such as HubSpot.

Experience with digital marketing platforms including Google Analytics and Semrush to enhance SEO/SEM for REI Systems

Experience deploying corporate, account, and opportunity campaign strategies to influence pipeline growth

Strong project management, budget development, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills

Expertise building trusted relationships and unifying teams and key partners

Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills

Locaiton: This position is partially remote (1-2 days in the Sterling, VA office a week).
