Primary Objectives:
• Gate camera monitoring
• Ensure that all internal & external telephone calls are answered.
• Ensure that all pertinent details of delivery or pick up are communicated well.
• Ensure that System is updated frequently and accurately with any in/out times, notes, or information.
• Ongoing personal/professional development
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Communicate with drivers and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor the movement of vehicles and cargo to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure vehicles are in good condition for transport.
• Resolve any issues or delays with shipments in a timely manner.
• Create and update entries in Fleet Manager
• Maintain accurate records of safety performance, incidents, and training activities.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure that they meet safety standards and identify potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and dispatch, to ensure that all aspects of transportation operations are conducted safely.
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and employees entering or exiting the premises.
• Write internal communications documents, including handouts and emails, to inform team members of important notices.
Must have:
• Strong English language skills – verbal & written.
Education & Experience
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• This position generally requires at least 1-2 years of related experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
