As a Senior Front End Engineer, you will design, develop, and troubleshoot software applications for existing and new products that drive Ten-X’s internal site and client-facing external site and mobile products. Experience with a wide range of technologies, from scripting languages to server configuration and management, to architecting scalable infrastructures, as well as being comfortable working in an agile, collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers the following hybrid schedule option:

3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Responsibilities

Design, develop and support high traffic, real-time enterprise applications

Collaborate with all business partners to design and define our class-leading products

Implement product features and refine specifications

Continuously improve working processes, code quality, and tool and technology adoption

Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members when needed

You'll be working on supporting and enhancing some of our core Java services including, but not limited to, our auction engine

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college

A track record of commitment to prior employers

8+ years of technical/development experience using modern web technologies

5+ years of experience in ReactJS development

Experience developing highly scalable enterprise-level web applications using RESTful web services

Experience with high level software design/architecture

Expertise with software development best practices, including standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations

Experience deep hands-on developing highly scalable enterprise level cloud-based web application with ReactJS, Node.js, Typescript, HTML, DOM, CSS and JavaScript

Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

Experience in relational database design (Ex. MySQL) including performance tuning

Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, C#, .Net (.Net Core), SocketIO, Elastic Search, MongoDB, MySQL, Kibana, Datadog, Terraform

Experience with Object Oriented patterns and principles

Experience with Docker, Apache Kafka (or similar), Kubernetes (or similar)

Experience with application integration between multiple large-scale system

Experience with Microservices

Experience working with tools like Git, Maven, JFrog, UDeploy

CI/CD

Experience with unit testing TDD

Experience in Agile environment

This position offers a base salary range of $124,000 - $211,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
