Position Summary:

Located in Haverhill, MA, Hans Kissle Company LLC is seeking a Maintenance Manager. This position is responsible for leading the maintenance and facilities departments. This individual will be responsible for the execution of cost-effective and timely maintenance necessary for the operation of all equipment processes. This includes directing, coordinating, and supporting maintenance supervisors and personnel, working with contractors, vendors, or company engineering in modifying or installing equipment, troubleshooting, and resolving new or different technical problems regarding equipment processes. This position is also responsible for efficiently managing and maintaining highly automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and a CMMS system. Other responsibilities include coordinating and supporting the maintenance training program for maintenance team members; assisting in preparing and overseeing budgets; coordinating team member work schedules and ensuring all parts and assets necessary to perform maintenance are available and maintained; providing information for managerial decision-making and performing other responsibilities as the need arises. This position contributes to a quality product by ensuring compliance with defined Product Specifications, the Quality Management System, and the Quality Policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Developing and maintaining a project portfolio plan for maintenance.

Monitoring project deliverables and milestones in line with the portfolio.

Implementation and reporting on various maintenance KPIs.

Analyzing and managing maintenance costs – striving for cost control and improvement.

Utilization of local CMMS standards.

Resolving cross-functional issues at the organizational level and escalating issues where necessary.

Working closely with all stakeholders and sub-organizations to ensure correct interfacing and alignment in the overall activities.

Interacts with and provides regular progress reports to the senior project management via various communication methods and tools defined in the organization setup.

Development of a global maintenance strategy with gap analysis and an approach to overcome hurdles.

Participate in the development of the Master Plan for the site.

Define a preventive maintenance strategy to avoid breakdowns that lead to loss of production.

Assist Production Department as needed (repair breakages, equipment alterations/upgrades)

Ensure technical documentation is up to date.

Accomplishes department goals by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

Conducts, organizes and monitors the training of direct reports.

Plan, monitor, and appraise job results.

Ensures global adherence to Environmental, Health, and Safety guidelines, directives, and standards.

Performs other duties as requested or required to ensure overall company success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.

Minimum nine years of experience directly involving site activities in production, engineering, or maintenance.

Strong analytical skills/ mechanical aptitude.

Highly organized and detail oriented.

Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing Experience a plus

Technological expertise (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, machining, and technical drawing)

Assemblies, and general construction required.

HVAC and Steam Systems knowledge preferred.

Project Management skills preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work professionally in a team environment.

Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
