SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for a skilled Medical Device Assembler!

Job Title: Operator I

Job Location: Plano, TX, U.S.A. 75024

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay: $18.25 an hour

Shift Structure: ONSITE, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week

The role of the Medical Device Assembler:

Utilize a microscope for extended periods to perform precise assembly, repair, and testing tasks on medical devices.

Handle and maneuver small components and parts with care and precision.

Perform assembly operations according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.

Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet regulatory standards and specifications.

Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve production targets and deadlines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clean room environment.

Document assembly and inspection activities accurately and timely.

Utilize relevant computer applications such as MS Word and Excel for documentation and data entry.

About the Medical Device Assembler:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

High School diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in assembly, preferably in the medical device industry.

Proficiency in using a microscope for extended periods.

Experience working in a clean room environment is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Knowledgeable in relevant computer applications, including MS Word and Excel.
