Position: Human Resources HRIS Specialist

Job Summary

The Human Resource HRIS Specialist position ensures the effective management and utilization of our HRIS systems to support HR and organizational needs.

Principal Responsibilities

Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS, responsible for system configuration, updates, and maintenance.

Maintain the integrity and accuracy of HR data in the system, including employee records, job profiles, compensation details, and organizational hierarchies.

Oversee data entry, auditing, and data cleanup activities within the HRIS to ensure data quality and consistency.

Develop and generate reports from the HRIS to provide insights to HR management and other departments.

Create custom reports and dashboards for key HR metrics, trends, and analytics.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR-related tasks and workflows through the HRIS.

Conduct payroll and benefits audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Manage ADP file feeds for open enrollment.

Assist in the design and documentation of HR processes and procedures.

Assist employees and mangers with questions regarding payroll policies, pay and benefits.

Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users to ensure they can effectively use the HRIS.

Address user inquiries, troubleshoot system issues, and offer guidance on best practices.

Stay informed about industry best practices and HRIS advancements.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience in HRIS administration and data management.

Proficiency with HRIS software, including experience with ADP.

ADP experience required.

Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Must be an enthusiastic self-starter, flexible, be able to multi-task and delegate or handle responsibilities with minimal supervision.

PC proficiency required.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

Working Conditions

Office environment with moderate noise level; able to work flexible hours and travel to other Conner Strong & Buckelew offices and company events as needed.
