Job Overview:
Alpha Group of Institutions invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) & Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AIDS) department. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic and research endeavors of the department, fostering a dynamic learning environment for students while engaging in cutting-edge research activities.
Responsibilities:
Teaching:
· Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, labs, and tutorials in CSE/IT/AIDS courses at the undergraduate and post graduate levels.
· Implement innovative teaching methods and leverage technology to enhance the learning experience.
Curriculum Development:
· Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the CSE/IT/AIDS curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
· Design new courses or update existing ones to reflect advancements in the field.
Research:
· Conduct and publish impactful research in reputable journals and conferences within the field of CSE/IT/AIDS.
· Collaborate with colleagues and students on research projects, seeking external funding when applicable.
Student Mentorship:
· Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students on academic and career-related matters.
· Supervise student projects, theses, and dissertations.
Professional Development:
· Stay current with advancements in CSE/IT/AIDS through continuous learning, attending conferences, and engaging in professional development activities.
· Contribute to the scholarly community through participation in academic conferences and other professional forums.
Community Engagement:
· Actively participate in departmental and university committees.
· Establish connections with industry partners and engage in collaborative projects.
Assessment and Evaluation:
· Design and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes.
· Provide constructive feedback to students and contribute to programmatic accreditation efforts.
Qualifications:
· M.Tech/Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology or Artificial Intelligence & Data Science.
· Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of CSE, IT or AIDS.
· Strong record of or potential for scholarly research and publications.
· Minimum 1 year of Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or post graduate level.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
