FP&A Senior Modelist

Main Purpose:Provide analytical support for the structuring, negotiation and execution of M&A transactions of Impala terminals. This includes due diligence, assisting the execution of deals and integrations.

Reports to Impala Group FP&A Manager, located in Geneva (Switzerland)

For our existing portfolio of over 30 liquid and dry bulk assets in over 20 countries, the candidate shall develop and maintain the various models used internally and externally

He/she is responsible for maintaining and updating regularly the various sources e.g. equity discount, WACC, DLOM for our various portfolio to support investment, impairment at year end and ad-hoc growth project, for which he/she will run analytical and quantitative assessments

While reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, the candidate will work in cooperation with internal actors e.g. COO, CCO and M&A, CEO

The work will cover also external work for auditors (Impairment test), and board of directors, as well as lending banks to support group refinancing (in cooperation with our Finance team)

He/she will update the regular financial communication to banks and investors

He/she supports the existing portfolio growth by accompanying commercial and investment teams

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

3-5 yrs. of experience with strong exposure to modeling

Strong financial modelling/valuation and analytical skills. Thorough project evaluation and solid analytical abilities

Excellent knowledge of xls and modeling, including macros

Highly organized / ability to multi-task and detail-oriented / team player

Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to provide articulate analysis to senior management and various stakeholders

Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships both externally and internally

Fluent written and spoken English.

Degree level (or equivalent) in economics or a business qualification.
