RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of moderately complex, mechanically operated machinery in the production process. This includes start-up, operation, adjustment to proper parameters, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of the equipment. Requires mechanical aptitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Pushes buttons on control panel to start and activate automatic cycles of production machines.

* Observes machine operations, material supplies, and position of work pieces to detect malfunctions, needed supplies, or misaligned parts.

* Performs routine preventative maintenance on machines as scheduled and required for TPM.

* Works individually and as a team to develop and implement quality and efficiency improvements.

* Conducts tests and inspections of products, or processes to evaluate quality or performance; examines products or work to verify conformance to specifications.

* Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.

* Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).

* Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.

* Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.

* Test operation of machines periodically.

* Fix issues that might occur during the shift.

* Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.

* Keep records of approved and defective units or final products.

* Maintain activity logs.

SCHEDULES --- 2-2-3 Rotating schedule.

NIGHT -- 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Great opportunity for OVERTIME.
